Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Government Affairs Lead to join our team in South Asia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government affairs, with a focus on the agriculture industry.

Roles and Responsibility

Develop and implement effective government relations strategies to achieve business objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials and regulatory bodies.
Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments affecting the agriculture sector.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company policies and procedures.
Provide expert advice on government affairs matters to senior management.
Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with government actions or regulations.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of the agriculture industry, including its trends, challenges, and regulatory environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Experience working with international organizations or companies is an advantage.
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Law, or a related field.
