About The Role The People Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing the employee life cycle for India Office Employees, from onboarding to job changes and offboarding. The individual will also play a critical role in developing and updating the employee handbook, ensuring policies are aligned with legal requirements and best practices. In the first six months, you will focus on streamlining payroll operations, improving process efficiency, and enhancing the overall employee experience across the organization. What You Will Do Monitoring Employee Lifecycle (ELC) operation, ie administering and maintaining employee records in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, OneGoTo), ensuring timely updates reflecting changes in salary, benefits, or tax information, including onboarding, offboarding, profile creation, and Expat services Proactively address and resolve payroll-related queries from employees in a timely and professional manner,demonstrating expertise and ensuring minimal disruption to employees. Assist in payroll audits and implement process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy, operational efficiency, and scalability across the team Work closely with PAC teams, Payroll vendors, and Accounting teams to develop ad-hoc financial and operational reporting as needed, ensuring alignment and data accuracy Manage the completion and submission of MOM (Ministry of Manpower) Surveys related to payroll, employee compensation, and benefits, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in compliance with Indias regulatory requirements Independently develop, update, and ensure compliance with internal HR policies and handbooks, ensuring they align with local labor laws, industry standards, and best practices. Clearly communicate policies to employees and ensure adherence across the organization What This Role Needs Minimum of 3 years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or Payroll Management Proficiency with HRIS and payroll software, particularly Workday or similar platforms Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage and reconcile payroll data with a high degree of accuracy Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written) to liaise effectively with employees, internal teams, and external vendors Ability to independently troubleshoot payroll issues and resolve discrepancies efficiently Understanding of labor laws related to People Operations in India, including compliance with employment standards and benefits regulations Familiarity with managing payroll across multiple countries, especially in the Asia Pacific region, is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify issues, suggest solutions, and implement corrective measures as necessary Proven experience in creating and updating HR policies, employee handbooks, or internal guidelines is preferred

We are hiring a Finance Business Partner to be an integral part of the India Finance Team. Who will be closely working with the team in all FPA activities and act as a Finance Business Partner for India. This role reports to the Head of Finance Accounting, India. As a Finance Business Partner (FBP), you will collaborate closely with various departments to understand their financial needs and provide essential support. You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, offering strategic insights to senior management for informed decision-making. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills to interpret financial data and present key findings to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. Forecasting: FBPs must also have a good understanding of market trends and business conditions to forecast future financial performance. SAP is a must; Anaplan is very niche and a bonus; Coupa and Concur are good to have. Service-oriented and conscientious, with attention to detail. Strong stakeholder management skills, as this role involves communication with senior management.
