Gold Appraiser

As a Gold Appraiser in our organization, your primary role will involve identifying the quality and purity of Gold in any form through manual processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for calculating the valuation of Gold pledged by customers, maintaining accounting processes, records, and handling cash for gold loan transactions at the branch. It is essential to adhere to the administrative processes, norms, policies, and discipline of the organization. Acquiring new customers through referencing and efficiently addressing customer queries while maintaining a cooperative attitude are also key responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Identify quality and purity of Gold in any form through manual process - Calculate Gold valuation pledged by customers - Maintain accounting processes, records, and handle cash for gold loan transactions - Adhere to administrative processes, norms, policies, and discipline - Acquire new customers through referencing - Solve customer queries and handle them in a cooperative and efficient manner Qualifications Required: - Graduates with at least 1 year of experience in gold checking and working in a gold loan disbursement firm - Basic computer knowledge is essential - Broader knowledge about the purity of gold, present gold rates, and experience in handling customers and large amounts of cash In addition to the specified responsibilities and qualifications, the company offers benefits such as leave encashment, provident fund, day shift schedule, and quarterly bonuses.
