Role Responsibilities Develop and maintain applications using Golang, adhering to best practices and coding standards. Design and implement APIs to support various functionalities in our applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Participate in system architecture and design discussions to ensure performance and scalability. Develop microservices that improve application performance and maintainability. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic. Work with databases, ensuring proper data management and accessibility. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, implementing fixes as necessary. Maintain version control using tools such as Git to track changes and collaborate effectively. Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives. Write unit tests to ensure robustness and reliability of applications. Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in software development. Qualifications Proven experience in Golang development or related programming language. Strong understanding of web technologies such as HTTP, RESTful services, and API design. Experience in microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Strong grasp of version control systems, particularly Git. Excellent problem-solving abilities to address complex technical challenges. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred. Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools for unit and integration testing. Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments. Degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. Experience in CI/CD pipeline implementation is a plus.
