Global Trade Manager

Job Description

As a Global Trade Specialist, you must be a subject matter expert in classification, export control, customs compliance, trade compliance audits/assessments, and other functional areas on global and country-level to maintain and develop trade compliance for Nokia. Supply (SU) covers the configuration, demand, and supply planning, order management, sourcing, production, delivery, and managing the procurement activities towards our suppliers. Global Trade Management (GTM) is associated with developing and maintaining trade compliance governance, covering the areas of classification, export control, customs compliance, trade compliance audits/assessments, and other functional areas on a global and country-level. You Have: Bachelors or Masters degree in CSE/ECE/EEE/EI/IT with 5 to 10 years of trade compliance audits/assessments. Knowledge and experience with the Supply (SU) covers the configuration, demand, and supply planning, order management, sourcing, production, delivery, and managing the procurement activities towards our suppliers. It would be nice if you also had: Manages trade compliance IT/tool strategy development and programme/project management. Interest to learn and integrate new technologies in a fast-paced environment. Maintains and enforces the Trade Compliance Internal Controls Programme (ICP). Oversees regional trade compliance governance. Provides standards and controls in export control, customs, compliance, classification / trade-related product data, and develop-related governance. Screens relevant regulation, legislation, and sanctions.Screens sanctioned parties and controlled deliveries. Follows up on trade compliance-related regulations. Maintains and develops relationship and partnership programmes with relevant stakeholders and authorities.Manages trade compliance relevant communication and enabling. Assesses, tracks, and manages trade compliance risks. Manages trade compliance IT/tool strategy development and programme/project management. Maintains a network of trade management specialists in all relevant Nokia countries. Acts as a professional leader for staff / workteam / taskforces, often the most senior specialist in a team, who serves as best practice resource within own organisational unit and/or is recognised as an expert within the same professional area in the business. Often leads functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and complexity; handles day-to-day staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work.
