Job Description

This is an opportunity to become part of the Global Talent Delivery Team responsible for ensuring alignment of talent solutions, processes, and data, enabling continuous improvement through digital enablement and delivering management information and predictive talent insights. The successful candidate will join the Talent Insights and Analytics Team (TIA), a key sub function, who enables transformation by providing global, reliable, and integrated talent data solutions that help leaders make smarter, data-driven talent decisions.

The TIA Advanced Analytics Sub-Pillar team is expanding their Talent Intelligence capabilities to complement our existing data models and solutions.

Our mission is to leverage Talent Intelligence to support business decisions by combining and analyzing various sources of information about the external talent landscape. We provide Talent Intelligence solutions, analysis, and recommendations to EY business and talent leaders across all service lines and geographies, addressing challenges questions throughout the talent lifecycle.

Through our dedicated Global Talent Intelligence platform, we have access to millions of data points, including over 20 million mapped companies, 1.1 billion profiles, and data from 5,200 cities, all aligned to a central skills taxonomy of 3,400 skills and activities.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Talent Intelligence Analyst to join our global Talent Insights and Analytics team. This role will focus on talent and workforce external labor data, transforming data from external vendors, and producing actionable insights that resonate with stakeholders. The successful candidate will also be responsible for building Talent Intelligence solutions in PowerBI and integrating Talent Intelligence data into our existing suite of solutions.

You will work closely with the Global Talent Intelligence Behavioral Science Lead and other team members to provide actionable insights and recommendations that drive strategic workforce decisions. About You

You are a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a strong background in data transformation, statistical analysis, and data visualization. You have a strong foundational understanding of labor market dynamics, and behavioral science and are eager to apply your skills to support Talent Intelligence initiatives. You thrive in a global and collaborative environment and are excited about the opportunity to work with a diverse team of experts to drive EY's talent strategy forward.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and transform data from external vendors to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Assess the effectiveness of data sources and data-gathering techniques and aid continuous improvement and enhancement of the overarching Talent Intelligence analytics suite development.
  • Utilize programming languages such as R or Python to analyze and interpret data.
  • Effectively leverage SQL to manipulate Talent Intelligence data.
  • Create and maintain PowerBI dashboards to visualize data and communicate insights effectively.
  • Conduct applied talent research and productize insights at scale, using both internal and external economic and talent data to build insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the Global Talent Intelligence Behavioral Science Lead and other team members to understand business needs and provide tailored Talent Intelligence solutions.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of Talent Intelligence products, reports, and presentations.
  • Monitor external best practices and internal feedback to identify and propose opportunities and support the functional leads in the feasibility analysis for the enhancement of existing practices, models, and processes.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and development within the TIA team.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Behavioural Science, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Deep subject matter expertise in data engineering, visualization, and related functional domains to generate and support insights and analytics.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as R and statistical software like SPSS.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI.
  • Foundational understanding of behavioural science principles and their application to Talent Intelligence.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive and innovative mindset, with a passion for leveraging data to drive strategic business decisions.
