Global Sourcing Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Develop, implement, and continuously refine comprehensive global category strategies for Professional Services (Mobile Network implementation/operation/outsourcing, Software development outsourcing, managed services, IT services, contingent labor, etc)

2. Conduct in-depth market analysis, spend analytics, demand forecasting, and benchmarking to identify strategic opportunities for cost optimization, value creation, and risk reduction.

3. Drive end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives, including RFI/RFP development, vendor evaluation, selection, and contract finalization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and governance standards.

4. Lead complex, multi-party negotiations with strategic suppliers, employing advanced negotiation techniques to secure optimal pricing, favorable terms and conditions, service level agreements (SLAs), and innovation clauses

5. Develop and manage robust global supply agreements, ensuring compliance, performance, and risk mitigation across all local and regional implementations

6. Drive aggressive yet sustainable cost reduction initiatives, focusing on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for services buying, and ensure realization of identified savings and value.

7. Champion the adoption and utilization of AI-powered procurement tools and analytics to enhance spend visibility, identify strategic insights, automate routine tasks, and improve predictive capabilities (e.g., demand forecasting, risk sensing).

8. Ensure strict adherence to corporate governance, internal controls, and relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 20400 for Sustainable Procurement, SOX, data privacy regulations).

9. Drive Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations within sourcing decisions and supplier selection, promoting sustainable and ethical procurement practices

• Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive strategic procurement and/or commercial project management experience with 5+ years category procurement experience for services
• Deep understanding of system integration market trend and vendors of professional services, managed services, and specialty services in relevant geographies
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal and conflict management skills
• Knowledge and experience in project management, budget control, and commercial governance
• Know how to build collaborative relationships with vendors and internal BU
• Familiarity with ERP systems, e.g. SAP, and associated workflow, data management, reporting
• Solid experience with complex contract structure, negotiation, ability to guide and collaborate with Legal resources

• Direct exposure to telco industry, active participation in large scale complex delivery programs expected.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors Degree
• C.P.M certification preferred
