Network Engineer Job Description : The responsibilities of this employee are to Monitor and report the Infrastructure issues and security incidents. Required Experience: 3+ years of experience in a full-time, technical role, monitoring and reporting the Infrastructure and security incidents. Responsibilities: End to end ownership of all major Incidents throughout the lifecycle. Record and classify received Incidents and undertake an immediate effort to restore a failed IT Service. Drive major incidents and ensure that they are resolved, and that service is restored as quickly and efficiently as possible. Determines if an incident needs to be escalated according to priority and severity of the issue. Maintaining incident logs, documenting key incident decisions. Developing procedural manuals for various IT issues Keep stakeholders informed about their Incidents status at agreed intervals. Associate Incidents with other records (i.e., Incidents, Changes, Problems, Knowledge Articles, Known Errors, etc.) Verify resolution with users and resolve Incidents in tool. Identify potential problems and/or increasing trend of repetitive Incidents. Participate in Incident review following major Incidents. Create Knowledgebase with repeatable procedures with a goal of reducing the number of Incidents. Educational Qualification: A 3+ year university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or computer engineering, or equivalent experience Excellent communication skills Excellent problem-solving skills Hard-working and diligent Willingness and ability to learn new products and technologies quickly Attention to detail
