Global Head of Engineering

Role Overview: You will be responsible for delivering large CAPEX growth projects globally according to scope, budget, and timeline in a cost-effective manner while meeting EHS, engineering, and local regulatory standards. This will involve partnering with regional operations and external engineering resources, coordinating with site E&M teams and external engineering firms, ensuring cost-effective, high-quality engineering solutions across all current and prospective Almatis locations, collaborating with external engineering partners and internal teams to drive consistency and best practices globally, identifying and implementing best practices, and developing and maintaining project plans. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver large CAPEX growth projects globally according to scope, budget, and timeline while meeting EHS, engineering, and local regulatory standards. - Partner with regional operations and external engineering resources to execute major projects effectively. - Coordinate with site E&M teams and external engineering firms to deliver cost-efficient solutions for small and large site-level CAPEX projects. - Ensure cost-effective, high-quality engineering solutions across all current and prospective Almatis locations. - Collaborate with external engineering partners and internal teams to drive consistency and best practices globally. - Identify and implement best practices for similar engineering and operational activities across locations. - Develop and maintain project plans, coordinate activities, manage project teams, communicate changes, and complete projects on time and within budget. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering. - Proven experience leading and delivering large CAPEX and growth projects while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, cost, and design requirements. - Strong ability to oversee design and development activities, with up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices. - Solid understanding and application of global engineering standards across civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines. - Familiarity with process control networks, PlantScape systems, PLCs, and large industrial equipment operations. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively at all phases of a project. - Strong collaborator who bridges technical and non-technical teams and fosters productive working relationships. - Skilled at integrating global, multicultural teams to develop and deliver cost-effective solutions. - Effective at resolving conflicts between internal and external partners to maintain project momentum.,
