Global Demand/ Supply Planner - UPL - Navi Mumbai

Title: Regional Supply/ Demand Planner

Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic Activities

• Own

  supply planning for the AI managed by them

• Monitor and control inventory

  (lead time, safety stock, inventory health, Supply Planning.

  Inventory management

  dashboards (e.g. SONAR)

• Support implementation and adoption of APS tools

• Inform and work with Head of Supply

  Planning on constrained materials

  .

• Participate in regional S&OP

  meetings to monitor & control supply and inventory status, risks, and corrective actions

• Drive Supply Planning excellence

  in the region through process improvements and standardizations across the regions

• Work with Regional Demand planner

  to align the demand vs supply every month

• Work with Global planner

  on monthly changes and take immediate corrective action

Tactical Activities

• Ensure that all RAWS and packaging are available at least 15 days prior

  to the production in USA & Canada

• Run monthly S&OP processes

  with commercial and product managers, aligning forecast vs open orders vs inventory norms.

• Analyze and control excess, NCM, and SLOB reports

  , drive corrective actions with regional teams.

• Finalize production plans

  with inventory needs through coordination with Global planners and regional manufacturing team.

• Collaborate with demand planning, procurement, logistics, and product managers

  to balance production plan, inventory and service levels (P vs A)

• Enter Tolling Purchase orders

  in the system and ensure accuracy in order entries

• Coordinate with Tollers and make sure production is on track

• Coordinate with Tollers and make sure production is entered in SAP on time

  , sometimes enter the production by themselves

• Coordinate on Stock Transfer Orders

  between Warehouse and Tollers

Operational Activities

• Control & monitor inventory levels

  and ensure no supply gap at the same time corrective actions for excess/short orders

• Conduct raw material stock reviews

  and track inventory-to-sales trends to minimize write-offs.
• Drive operational reviews and provide inputs on demand shifts, supply disruptions, and corrective actions in S&OP forums

• Key KPIs P vs A

  (Supply Commitment vs actual), Inventory Quality (NCM, Excess, SLOB) & Value (NOD, Stock compliance), SONAR & APS Utilization incl. adoption

Accountable for

• Monitor Forecast vs Supply planning with a target of no supply gap for AI, RAWs and packaging

• Production planning on time

• Production posting in SAP on time

• Monthly S&OP meeting with a full command on their SKUS

• Identify supply gaps and inform

  the SCMLT, Commercial LT and product managers immediately on key gaps, impacting the forecast
