Job Overview: As a Quantity Surveyor handling both pre-contract and post-contract responsibilities, you will be responsible for cost planning, tendering, contract management, and financial control of construction projects. You will work closely with project teams, clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Pre-Contract: Prepare cost estimates and budgets at various project stages. Conduct feasibility studies and cost planning. Assist in preparing bills of quantities (BOQ), tender documents, and procurement strategies. Analyze and evaluate tenders and recommend suitable contractors. Participate in value engineering and risk management exercises. Support in contract drafting and negotiation Attend design and client meetings to provide commercial input. Post-Contract: Monitor project costs against budget and report on variances. Prepare and issue interim valuations and payment applications. Assess contractors claims and variations; negotiate and agree on variations. Provide cost reports and cash flow forecasts. Support in final account preparation and agreement. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures. Liaise with project managers and site teams to track project progress. Provide advice on contractual matters and dispute resolution. Preferred candidate profile: Education B.E in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering Minimum 10 years of experience required Good command over MS Office, AutoCAD programs. Self-driven, with good command over written and verbal English / regional language. Ability to coordination with Client team / Architects / Consultants / Site based teams Detail-oriented and commercially astute. Proactive problem-solver. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Roles and Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of MEP quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and BIM models. Support in developing cost estimates, budgets , and cost plans for MEP packages. Participate in tendering activities , including preparation of BOQs, bid comparisons, and clarifications. Track and verify contractor claims, invoices, and progress bills for MEP works. Maintain cost logs and assist in cost reporting to senior management or clients. Review and support assessment of variations, change orders , and value engineering opportunities. Coordinate with site teams, consultants, and contractors to validate MEP quantities and progress. Assist in the preparation of monthly reports, cash flow forecasts , and cost-to-complete analysis. Maintain up-to-date records of material rates, subcontractor quotes , and procurement schedules. Support in ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and contractual obligations. Desired Candidate Profile 5-8 years of experience in Quantity Surveying or related field (Mechanical/Electrical background). Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. degree in relevant discipline (e.g., Electrical/Mechanical). Advanced Excel formulas knowledge required; proficiency in MS Office Suite essential. Strong understanding of cost estimation, billing, forecasting skills necessary.

Role and Responsibilities Assist in preparing cost plans and budgets during the pre-construction stage. Support in preparing elemental cost estimates based on concept, schematic, and detailed designs. Analyze and benchmark costs using historical data or similar projects. Assist in preparing tender documentation, including Bills of Quantities (BoQ), pricing documents, and preambles. Support tender analysis and evaluation processes. Coordinate with suppliers/contractors for pricing and procurement-related queries. Track and monitor project costs throughout the construction phase. Assist in preparing interim payment recommendations and cost reports. Support in assessing variations/changes and preparing corresponding cost implications. Maintain organized records of cost data, correspondence, and project documents. Support the preparation of cost-related reports for internal and client use. Attend client meetings (as needed) and assist in presenting cost-related information. Coordinate with design, project management, and site teams for relevant updates. Support the identification of cost risks and opportunities. Assist in value engineering exercises to optimize project costs. Desired Candidate Profile 3-5 years of experience in cost management or a related field (Electrical/Mechanical). Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. degree in relevant discipline (e.g., Electrical or Mechanical). Strong understanding of costing principles, estimating techniques, and contracting processes. Proficiency in software such as SAP or similar systems.
