We’re seeking an experienced and responsible Truck Maintenance Incharge to oversee the upkeep, servicing, and performance of our fleet. The ideal candidate will ensure all vehicles are roadworthy, minimize downtime, control maintenance costs, and uphold the highest safety and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities: Fleet Maintenance: Plan, schedule, and supervise regular servicing, repairs, and inspections for all trucks and tankers. Workshop Management: Coordinate with mechanics, technicians, and service vendors to ensure timely and quality repairs. Breakdown Handling: Quickly respond to vehicle breakdowns and arrange immediate repairs to reduce delays. Inventory Control: Manage spare parts, lubricants, and maintenance tools efficiently to avoid shortages or wastage. Cost Management: Monitor and control maintenance expenses while maintaining quality standards. Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate service records, repair logs, and ensure compliance with RTO and safety regulations. Team Leadership: Guide maintenance staff, assign tasks, and ensure adherence to company maintenance protocols. Performance Monitoring: Track vehicle health, analyze maintenance trends, and suggest improvements for reliability and longevity. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years’ experience in truck or heavy vehicle maintenance, preferably in a logistics or fleet-based company. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, tankers, and hydraulic systems . Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate with external workshops. Good record-keeping, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Diploma or ITI in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering preferred. Ideal Candidate: Practical, organized, and proactive in ensuring zero downtime. Strong focus on safety, cost control, and preventive maintenance. Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
