Key Responsibilities: Geriatric Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess mobility, balance, strength, and functional abilities of elderly patients. Personalized Treatment Plans: Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation programs addressing age-related conditions such as arthritis, osteoporosis, and neurological disorders. Therapeutic Interventions: Administer therapies including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like TENS and ultrasound to improve patient outcomes. Fall Prevention Strategies: Design and implement fall prevention programs to enhance safety and independence. Patient Education: Educate patients and caregivers on exercise routines, posture correction, and lifestyle modifications to manage chronic conditions. Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists to provide holistic care. Qualifications: Educational Requirements: BPT or MPT from a recognized institution. Experience: Experience in geriatric physiotherapy is preferred; however, freshers with a keen interest in elderly care may also be considered.
