GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER 02 Male / Female Job Description : Specialized professional responsible for studying the behavior and properties of soil, rocks, and other materials present within the Earth's crust to provide valuable insights for various construction and infrastructure projects. Expertise is critical in ensuring the safety, stability, and sustainability of engineering projects, such as building foundations, roads, bridges, dams, tunnels, and other structures. Key responsibilities will be site investigation, performed on-site geotechnical tests, performed laboratory tests on soil and rock, interpreting data collected during site investigations to evaluate the engineering properties of soil and rock formations, data analysis, Designing foundations, retaining walls, and other engineering structures to ensure their stability and safety report writing. Providing on-site support during construction to ensure adherence to geotechnical recommendations and designs documentation, Identifying potential geotechnical risks and hazards that could impact project performance, Proposing mitigation measures to reduce risks and ensure the long-term stability of engineering projects, Gathering relevant data on the topography, seismic activity, and other geological factors that may influence construction projects. Qualifications and skills : Master's degree in geotechnical engineering, or a related field. Knowledge and working experience on engineering geophysics will be preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex geotechnical challenges. Proficiency in geotechnical software and analysis tools. Knowledge of relevant engineering codes, standards, and regulations. Excellent communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Time management skills to meet project deadlines and respond to urgent service requests. Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors and in challenging field conditions. Adaptability to work in varying environments and weather conditions. Flexibility to travel frequently and work in different locations. Professional appearance and demeanor.
