Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced GM/DGM – Production to lead the manufacturing operations at our factory. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in managing the production of plants, machinery, and capital goods, with the ability to read, interpret, and prepare detailed mechanical and assembly drawings. Hands-on experience with conventional manufacturing machines is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall production, fabrication, and machining operations in the factory.
• Capable of reading, illustrating, and preparing mechanical & assembly drawings.
• Supervise and manage production teams, ensure timely manufacturing schedules.
• Work with conventional machines like shapers, millers, lathes, and oversee fabrication activities.
• Ensure quality control, adherence to manufacturing standards, and process improvements.
• Coordinate with engineering, design, procurement, and project teams for smooth workflow.
• Maintain discipline, safety, and efficient manpower utilization within the plant.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure minimal downtime.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 15–20 years of experience in a manufacturing company dealing with plants & machinery / capital goods.
• Strong hands-on exposure to conventional manufacturing machines (not CNC).
• Preference for candidates from the Cooling Towers (C/T) industry.
• Should be technically sound with fabrication, machining, assembly, and plant manufacturing processes.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-handling skills.
