General Manager - Operations

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our establishment, ensuring exceptional service and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hospitality industry, particularly within restaurant or hotel settings, and possess a passion for food and customer service. This role requires a leader who can effectively manage a team, oversee food preparation and production, and maintain high standards of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the restaurant or hotel, ensuring a seamless guest experience
• Manage and supervise staff, fostering a positive team environment while providing leadership and guidance
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
• Coordinate food preparation and production processes to guarantee quality and consistency in all dishes served
• Develop and implement training programmes for staff on culinary techniques, hospitality standards, and customer service
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure efficient kitchen operations
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for complete customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with chefs to create innovative menu items that reflect current trends while maintaining cost efficiency

Experience
The successful candidate will possess:

• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality sector, preferably in restaurants or hotels
• Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
• Demonstrated ability in team management, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation
• Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations to ensure compliance within the kitchen environment
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff towards achieving operational goals
• Previous experience as a barista or in serving roles is advantageous but not essential

Pay: ₹25,606.43 - ₹62,775.41 per month
