General Manager - Operations (OSD)

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Review of day to day Operational activities Analysis, Assessment & innovation of efficient and optimum process for OSDs Coordination with New product or process development with eco-friendliness components, which complies with cGMP standards Preparation of timelines for selected products for batch release Strategic planning for the plants overall development Statutory and Legal compliance in terms of Quality, Safety and Operations Cost reduction of existing products to meet the market requirement. Implementation of cGMP and ISO systems Manpower management Team building and strengthening the second line of organizational hierarchy Training and development of functional teams Inculcating organizational culture and employee recruitment and retention Troubleshooting of plant batches Interaction and coordination with CFT (Cross Functional Team) Prepare and present at the monthly review meeting with management Reduce the consumption maximum, Reuse optimum level for all natural resources. Review, analysis and implementation Project activities Prepare CAPEX and present to Management Optimum Costing of Projects Planning, Controlling and Estimation of New Projects Statutory compliance of plant in construction and running Coordination with external parties on civil activities Vendor management in construction Environmental Health and Safety of 4 Ms (Man, Machine, Material and Money) Approval of drawings on plant layout and machinery
