Overview The General Manager Operations - ELV is a pivotal role in our organization, responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems within a diverse range of projects. This position demands a strategic vision and operational expertise to ensure the successful execution of comprehensive ELV solutions, which include systems such as security, communication, and building management systems. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the operations of ELV systems across all projects. Develop and implement operational strategies and best practices. Supervise project managers and technical teams for efficient execution. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation. Engage in vendor selection and management processes. Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning. Establish key performance indicators to track operational success. Facilitate regular team meetings and performance reviews. Enhance client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness. Drive innovation in ELV technology and operational processes. Develop training and development programs for team members. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align operational efforts with business objectives. Monitor industry trends and implement relevant improvements. Prepare comprehensive reports for upper management review. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of 5 to 7 years experience in operations management, preferably in ELV systems. Proven track record of successful project management. Strong knowledge of ELV systems and technologies. Experience managing cross-functional teams. Exceptional leadership and people management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Demonstrated capability to manage budgets and financial controls. Proficiency in project management and operational software. Experience with risk assessment and quality assurance processes. Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory compliance. Ability to travel as required for project oversight. Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) preferred. Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.
