Job Summary:The General Manager - Finance will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of Burger Farm India Pvt Ltd by developing and implementing sound financial strategies. The incumbent will ensure effective financial planning, risk management, compliance, and strategic decision-making to drive profitability and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:Financial Planning and BudgetingDevelop and implement robust financial strategies and budgets aligned with organizational goals.Ensure all departmental budgets are prepared, consolidated, and approved within the stipulated time frame.Monitor adherence to budgets and recommend corrective actions.Financial Reporting and AnalysisOversee timely preparation and presentation of financial statements and management reports.Identify key financial trends and provide actionable insights.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Cash Flow ManagementMaintain optimal cash flow to meet operational and capital expenditure needs.Establish strong relationships with banks and financial institutions.Compliance and Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with tax regulations, statutory filings, and corporate governance norms.Identify financial risks and implement risk mitigation strategies.Establish internal controls and ensure adherence to financial policies.Cost Control and ProfitabilityMonitor and control operating expenses to achieve cost efficiency.Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or efficiency.Strategic SupportAct as a strategic partner to the leadership team by providing financial insights for decision-making.Participate in long-term business planning.Provide financial feasibility studies and ROI analysis for new projects.Team Leadership and DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop the finance team to enhance their capabilities.Promote a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.Set performance metrics and conduct regular performance reviews.Third-Party Relationship ManagementNegotiate and manage contracts with third-party vendors, suppliers, and financial service providers.Ensure timely payment cycles and maintain positive relationships with external partners. Qualifications and Experience:CAMinimum 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the food & beverage or retail industry.Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate finance.Proven experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing finance team.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
