Job Description

Role Overview -

This senior leadership role involves providing strategic financial guidance to the Board of Directors and Management, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving financial discipline, and enabling growth through effective planning, fund management, and risk control.

The Finance Head will lead a team of professionals and act as the custodian of the companys financial health while aligning financial strategies with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities -

Strategic Financial Leadership -

Lead the finance function across multiple entities of the group, ensuring seamless consolidation, reporting, and compliance.

Partner with the Board of Directors and senior management in defining financial strategies, policies, and long term growth plans.

Provide critical insights on project feasibility, ROI, and business expansion decisions.

Advise management on financial risks, capital structuring, and funding strategies.

Financial Planning & Contro

Drive budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, and cost control mechanisms to ensure profitability and financial health.

Oversee project-wise financial monitoring, cash flow management, and fund allocation.

Evaluate and recommend funding options (term loans, working capital, private equity, etc.) from banks and financial institutions.

Ensure timely statutory payments and compliance with RERA, GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other real estate-specific regulations.

Governance, Compliance & Reporting -

Oversee statutory audits, internal audits, and risk assessments across all group entities.

Maintain transparent communication with the Board by preparing detailed financial reports, variance analysis, and recommendations.

Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards, financial disclosure norms, and regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership & Development Lead and mentor a high-performing finance & accounts team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Establish robust internal controls, systems, and processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial data.

Drive cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Sales, Projects, and HR to align financial operations with business objectives

Desired Candidate Profile -

15+ years of progressive experience, including at least 810 years in senior leadership roles in real estate industry.

In-depth knowledge of real estate finance, taxation, project accounting, RERA compliance, and multi-entity consolidation.

Proven experience in working with Boards of Directors, investors, and financial institutions.

Strong track record in fund raising, capital structuring, and debt/equity management.

Excellent leadership and people management skills with experience in handling large finance teams.

Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to influence at the highest levels.
