As a Joule and Gen AI developer, you will play a crucial role in shaping SAP s vision and future by working on building a platform that provides natural language processing capabilities and integrates seamlessly with other SAP products, ultimately serving the dream of one unified digital assistant for SAP powered by LLMs. As a senior developer of the team, you will be leading by example to the rest of the team. We are looking for a person who brings, 1. Technical competencies. Technical languages: a minimum of 6-8 years of hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, SAP HANA, Redis, SAP BTP, and the Playwright test framework. Strong conceptual clarity of OOPs. Component architecture: The great responsibility (comes with accountability) of architecting a piece of code that runs across all SAP systems for millions of users. o Coding and Debugging: Write clean, efficient, well-documented code, and actively participate in debugging and troubleshooting activities with the ownership mindset . o Reviewing the peers code: it is not just your code that breaks the application, but any crazy piece! You will be involved in your peer s code reviews. o Software Development Lifecycle: Contribute to software solutions development, testing, and deployment under the guidance and mentorship of experienced agile engineers. Participate and contribute to the design and architecture of your component. Participate in the code reviews. o Own your deliverable: involvement in all agile phases to bring life to your code including testing. o Pipeline ownership: Hands-on understanding and experience of source repositories, Jenkins, and CI-CD principles. 2.
