Position Overview The Solar Projects Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and completing solar installation projects on time and within budget. This role involves managing ground teams, coordinating technical and operational activities, and ensuring that all project outcomes meet quality, safety, and performance standards. Key Responsibilities 1. Project Planning & Management Develop complete project plans, schedules, and timelines. Manage end-to-end solar installation projects, from site survey to commissioning. Monitor project progress and implement corrective measures when required. 2. Team Coordination & Supervision Lead and supervise on-ground installation teams, technicians, and subcontractors. Assign tasks, set performance targets, and ensure team productivity. Provide guidance, training, and technical support to field teams. 3. Site Execution & Quality Control Ensure installation activities follow design specifications, safety standards, and quality guidelines. Conduct site inspections to verify work quality and compliance. Resolve on-site issues and technical challenges promptly. 4. Coordination & Communication Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and logistics teams for smooth project execution. Communicate project status to management and clients. Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. 5. Reporting & Documentation Prepare daily/weekly progress reports. Maintain project documentation, drawings, checklists, and compliance records. Ensure proper handover and commissioning documentation is completed. Qualifications & Skills Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field (preferred). 3–7 years of experience in solar project installation or project management. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, installation practices, and commissioning procedures. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and solar plant layouts. Hands-on experience with tools, equipment, and installation standards. Soft Skills Excellent leadership and team-handling abilities. Strong project coordination and time-management skills.
