Job Title: Higher Education Consultant Contract Type: Full-time Permanent (following 3-month provisional period) Overview GEC Higher Education is an international student recruitment consultancy firm registered in France. We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Local Higher Education Consultant in your city to promote our educational services, engage with prospective students, and support our recruitment goals. The role begins with a 3-month provisional period, during which performance will determine eligibility for a full-time permanent position with a fixed salary aligned with market standards. Key Responsibilities Actively promote our services across social media platforms. Represent and promote our agency within local universities, student communities, and career clubs. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies aimed at student recruitment. Communicate effectively with international students; strong communication skills are required. Provide accurate program information, support prospective students, and guide them through their decision-making process. Maintain regular follow-ups with leads and work toward achieving a high conversion rate. Compensation During the Provisional Period During the 3-month provisional period, you will be considered a freelancer and compensated on a case-by-case basis. Examples are provided below. Case 1: Partner University Programs (e.g., MSc in Computer Science, Paris) GEC Higher Education partners with select universities offering benefits such as: Low upfront tuition (e.g., €3,000 before visa; remainder after visa approval) Nearly 100% employment success following graduation Year-2 work-study (alternance) opportunities where: Tuition fees are paid by the hiring company Students receive a monthly salary No application fee when applying through GEC Higher Education Students pay zero service fees to us—GEC is compensated directly by partner universities Freelancer Reward: For each student recruited from your region (e.g., India, Maghreb, China, etc.) and enrolled in a partner program, you will receive the local equivalent of €500 . Example: If you are from India, €500 is approximately ₹52,281 . Case 2: Non-Partner Universities (Top French Universities) GEC Higher Education also supports student applications to elite French institutions, including: Université Paris-Saclay Sorbonne Université Sciences Po HEC Paris ESCP Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris) And other top-tier institutions For these universities, GEC offers paid student services: Offer Letter Suite – €199 Visa Assistance – €299 After-Arrival Support – €399 Complete Journey Package (Admission → Visa → Arrival) – €799 Freelancer Reward: You earn a 20% commission immediately after each package sale.
