Key Responsibilities

Support platform engineering efforts for GCP migration.
Set up and configure cloud-native tools and services.
Perform ongoing maintenance and ensure platform health.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and optimize cloud infrastructure.
Automate operational tasks using Python and GCP-native tools.
Ensure security, compliance, and performance standards are met.

Required Experience

6+ years
of experience in
Platform Engineering
or related roles.
3+ years
of recent hands-on experience with
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
.
Strong working knowledge of the following GCP services:

Bigtable
(NoSQL database)
Dataproc
(managed Spark/Hadoop)
Google Cloud Storage (GCS)
Cloud Composer
(workflow orchestration with Airflow)

Proficiency in
Python
for scripting and automation.
Experience with cloud monitoring, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code is a plus.
