GCP infrastructure Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Google Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support cloud-native applications, infrastructure automation, and DevOps processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and highly available infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Automate cloud provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance tasks.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Google Cloud Build.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage workloads through Kubernetes / GKE.
• Configure and manage networking components — VPCs, subnets, load balancers, VPNs, and peering.
• Monitor system performance and optimize costs using tools like Stackdriver / Google Cloud Monitoring / Logging.
• Implement security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and vulnerability management.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across infrastructure, networking, and cloud services.
• Participate in incident response and on-call rotations as required.

Technical Skills & Experience

• 5–7 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) — Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, etc.
• Proficiency in Terraform (preferred) or Google Deployment Manager.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI, Google Cloud Build).
• Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and GKE.
• Strong networking knowledge: VPCs, routing, firewall rules, load balancing.
• Experience in scripting/automation using Python, Bash, or Go.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Stackdriver, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Understanding of cloud security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)

• GCP Professional Cloud Architect or Professional DevOps Engineer certification.
• Exposure to other cloud platforms (AWS / Azure).
• Experience with Serverless, Cloud Run, or Cloud Functions.
• Familiarity with Service Mesh (Istio) and API Gateways.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹2,500,000.00 per year
