Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and manage

    ETL/ELT pipelines using

    Python

    and

    SQL

  • Work with

    BigQuery to store, transform, and analyze large datasets efficiently

  • Build data workflows

    that support business intelligence, reporting, and advanced analytics

  • Collaborate

    with data analysts, data scientists, and business teams to understand data requirements

  • Optimize performance and cost efficiency

    of BigQuery datasets and queries

  • Manage and monitor data ingestion

    from various sources into GCP

  • Ensure data quality, security, and governance

    across all pipelines

Must-Have Skills:

  • Python programming

    for data manipulation and automation

  • Strong SQL skills

    for complex data transformations
  • Hands-on experience with

    BigQuery

    for data warehousing and querying
  • Good understanding of

    GCP services

    , including:

    • BigQuery

    • Cloud Storage

    • Dataflow

      (optional)

    • Pub/Sub

      (optional)

Preferred Skills (Bonus):

  • Experience with Airflow

    or other orchestration tools

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

    and

    Git

  • Knowledge of data modeling

    and data architecture principles

  • Understanding of data security and compliance

    on GCP
