Game Designer Intern

Position: Game Designer Intern
Internship Period: 3 Months (PPO based on performance)
Stipend: 5k
Location: New Delhi

Key Responsibilities:
Game Design and Documentation: Design and document gameplay systems, mechanics, loops, and progression structures.Develop engaging levels, missions, and challenges that align with the narrative and core mechanics.Create and maintain comprehensive Game Design Documents (GDDs), flowcharts, and wireframes.Collaboration and Implementation Work closely with developers, artists, and producers to bring designs into implementation.Ensure designs are well-optimized, balanced, and consistent with the project’s vision. Participate in cross-functional brainstorming sessions for new ideas and feature concepts. Analysis and Iteration Analyze playtest data and user feedback to enhance the player experience.Adjust gameplay balance, pacing, and difficulty based on testing insights.Ensure gameplay aligns with narrative tone, player psychology, and engagement objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong understanding of game design principles, player motivation, and pacing. Ability to conceptualize and build gameplay systems from high-level ideas.Experience in creating design documents, mockups, and gameplay flow diagrams. Familiarity with balancing systems for progression, difficulty, and retention.Proficiency with tools such as Photoshop, Figma, Canva, Google Sheets, Firebase, and Amplitude.Experience with Confluence, Notion, or Google Docs for documentation.Comfortable using Jira or similar project management tools.Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of AI applications in game design and analytics-driven decision-making. Understanding of level design, game economy structures, and live operations
