Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Furniture Production Drawing Engineer with hands-on experience in AutoCAD and a strong understanding of furniture manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing precise production drawings, coordinating with design and factory teams, and ensuring all designs are optimized for manufacturing efficiency and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed furniture production and assembly drawings using AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
• Convert design intent drawings into shop drawings, cutting lists, and material specifications for production.
• Coordinate with the Design, Production, and Procurement teams to ensure technical accuracy and material feasibility.
• Review and verify drawings for dimensions, joinery details, edge banding, and hardware fitting layouts.
• Develop BOMs (Bill of Materials) and support production planning for smooth workflow.
• Ensure drawings align with manufacturing standards and site requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and offer technical input for production optimization.
• Maintain drawing records, revisions, and project documentation.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential (2D drafting and 3D visualization).
• Strong understanding of furniture construction techniques, joinery, and material usage (plywood, MDF, metal, veneer, laminate, etc.).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and machinery used in modular furniture production.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with BOM preparation and production coordination.

Qualification:

• Diploma / Degree in Interior Design, Furniture Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Candidates with prior experience in modular furniture, fit-out, or interior manufacturing industries will be preferred.

Work Conditions:

• Location: Factory / Production Unit (Gurugram).
• 6 days working per week.
• Coordination with site, design, and production teams required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
