Furniture Designer

As a Furniture Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and marketable furniture pieces that meet client specifications and industry trends. Your role will involve conceptualizing designs, selecting materials, prototyping, collaborating with teams, conducting market research, managing projects, and ensuring high-quality production. Key Responsibilities: - Conceptualize and design furniture pieces in line with client requirements, market trends, and brand identity. - Create 2D/3D renderings, technical drawings, and models using CAD software like AutoCAD, Rhino, or SolidWorks. - Select appropriate materials based on cost, durability, sustainability, and customer preferences. - Collaborate with suppliers to source materials and understand their applications. - Develop prototypes in coordination with the production team, ensuring alignment with design concepts. - Liaise with clients, interior designers, and architects to understand project needs and present design concepts. - Stay updated on furniture design trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques through market research. - Manage multiple projects from concept to production, maintaining timelines and budgets. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Interior Design, or a related field. - Proven experience as a furniture designer with a portfolio showcasing design work. - Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino) and 3D modeling. - Knowledge of furniture production processes, materials, and manufacturing technologies.
