Fund Services Accountant

Role Overview: At Citco, you will be part of a pioneering organization that has been a market leader in the asset servicing sector since 1948. As a member of the Fund Administration team, you will play a crucial role in providing U.S. Tax analysis of transactions, handling tax reporting for investors, and contributing to the delivery of K1s to investors. Your proactive attitude and strong attention to detail will be essential as you participate in departmental initiatives and assist in special projects. Key Responsibilities: - Provide U.S. Tax analysis of transactions - Handle tax reporting for investors and tax filings - Interface with other areas of the firm - Participate in departmental and divisional initiatives - Contribute to the delivery of K1s to investors on a timely basis - Provide global analysis of transactions - Assist in special projects as necessary Qualifications: - Prior tax and financial services experience is a plus - Strong software skills - Proficient in MS Excel; comfortable with formulas, should understand the basics of macros and pivot tables, and be able to navigate and understand workbooks - Intuitive feel and quick to learn various software applications - Hedge fund experience is a plus - Experience in US/Australian Tax compliance experience on hedge funds/private equity funds is a plus - Strong attention to detail - Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems - Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects - Proactive attitude (Note: The additional details about the company and benefits have been omitted as they were not explicitly requested in the instructions.),
