Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Supporting a global Fund of Fund clients Operations teams
Transaction Booking
:
Booking & approvals of Investment & Investor Transactions (Calls & Distribution)
Tracking & updating investor/fund commitments
Transaction Control:
A controlled reconciliation between client investment book of records to GP Capital accounts/Transaction notices.
Reviewing different categories of investors/ investments
Cross checking commitment values with GP Reports
Downloading FX reports for contributions and distribution on cumulative on daily basis
Entry of details and codes/ IDs for different investors and investments of different admins
Updating total commitments in in-house tool based on PFOF Reconciliation excel sheet
Valuations:
Identifying the assets and capital accounts from quarterly reports and updating the valuation of funds in in-house tool
Portfolio Data:
Quarterly Portfolio Companies' CVP inputs
Quarterly Co-Investments Update from GP reports
Check fund files on Quarterly basis for financials, CVP Inputs, Exit/Entry
Regular interaction with clients and supporting them by catering to their other ad-hoc requests

Preferred candidate profile

Masters degree/ MBA in Strategy, Finance/ CFA/CA
2-10 years of experience in financial research and analysis, good understanding of valuation and decent knowledge of Fund of Funds
Experience in managing client communications
Experience in handling projects independently
Excellent at MS Excel to process varied data sets in spreadsheets (Pivots, charting etc.) is highly desirable
Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking skills, as evidenced by extensive experience in utilizing those skills in research and consulting environment. Adept at synthesizing information to generate insights
Strong communication skills
