Job_Description":" This is a remote position. Alternative Path is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Fund Accounting Senior Analyst to assist, one of its clients. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our client\u2019s internal and partner teams. Location : Gurgaon, India/Remote Key Responsibilities: Reconcile trial balances, general ledger, and partner allocation accounts Review waterfall calculations and ensure accuracy Perform bank account statement reconciliation and resolve discrepancies Review financial statements and work papers produced by third-party administrator Verify partner account statements and resolve any discrepancies Work collaboratively with various teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting Assist with year-end audit and tax preparation Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and vendors Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures Requirements Candidate must be a Graduate/Postgraduate with good knowledge of accounting and finance. Candidates must have 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in fund accounting, with a strong understanding of accounting principles. Candidates with experience working on fund accounting platforms like Gen II will be preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with experience in financial reporting systems. The candidate is expected to have experience building and working with large data files (Pivots, V Lookups) as well as some experience of building macros in MS Excel. Detail oriented with fast and exact data collection and validation skills. The ability to work as an individual contributor effectively and possess strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills, multitask and deliver under tight deadlines; The candidate is a self-starter that thrives on complexity and solution finding. The profile involves effective communication across Clients\u2019 facilities globally and hence possessing excellent interpersonal and communication skills in verbal and written English is a must. A demonstrated ability to write effectively and summarize large amounts of information succinctly and quickly. A desire to work in an international team environment, often under pressure and with multiple stakeholders Must operate with the highest level of integrity.
