This is a mix of Functional Analyst + QA role ideal for someone who understands business workflows deeply and ensures that every feature is delivered with clarity, precision, and exceptional quality.
If you enjoy analyzing requirements, managing change requests, validating end-to-end functionality, and ensuring smooth product releases — this role is for you.
Experience: 3-5 years
Key Responsibilities:
Functional Analysis & Requirement Understanding
Work closely with clients, business stakeholders, and internal teams to gather and understand functional requirements.
Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflow diagrams.
Perform impact analysis for change requests and manage them from initiation to approval.
Ensure clear alignment between client expectations, functional documentation, and technical implementation.
Quality Assurance & Test Execution
Design, review, and execute manual test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
Validate UI/UX behavior, cross-browser responsiveness, and mobile compatibility.
Conduct API testing using Postman — validate payloads, headers, responses, and flows.
Perform regression, integration, and system testing to ensure product stability.
Identify, document, and track defects to closure with detailed steps and severity.
Own functional sign-off for releases and ensure all deliverables meet quality benchmarks.
Release Notes & Documentation
Prepare release notes, functional change logs, and testing summaries for stakeholders.
Maintain requirement traceability between features, test cases, and business goals.
Support client UAT cycles through clarifications, issue reproduction, and functional validation.
Required Skills & Experience:
3–5 years of experience in QA, functional analysis, UAT coordination, or hybrid QA–BA roles.
Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, requirement breakdown, and test design techniques.
Solid experience in manual testing and functional validation.
Proficient with Postman for API testing.
Strong analytical, logical, and structured problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and take ownership of deliverables.
Exposure to B2B platforms, manufacturing systems, eCommerce stores, digital storefronts, or buyer–seller marketplace environments will be a strong plus.
Candidates with experience in product or platform development in these domains bring valuable insights into real-world user journeys and multi-party workflows — making them exceptionally effective in this hybrid functional QA role.
Good to Have:
Familiarity with automation tools (Playwright, Katalon, Selenium).
Basic scripting (JavaScript / Python / Java).
