Functional Analyst (Intermediate Level)

You will be responsible for developing a good understanding of the defined product area from a functional perspective and demonstrating it by resolving product issues. Working closely with Business Analysts (BAs) and development teams, you will identify business scenarios for various industries where the software is delivering business value. It will be your duty to ensure that the implementation and execution align with the overall functional design. You will also assess the functional testing requirements for each feature or product issue, assisting in the identification of consistent test data to be used across different features. As a functional QA engineer, you will participate in projects and thoroughly test the product functions and features. Your role will involve continuous improvement of functional test coverage for existing features and reviewing product documentation for both existing and new features. Additionally, you will provide cross-training and education to test and development personnel as needed. Understanding business requirements and designs provided, you will develop and execute functional test cases while following standard development processes and procedures. Demonstrating problem-solving and innovation ability in software development and maintenance tasks, you will proactively pick up development and maintenance tasks. Planning and prioritizing your work with input from the lead or manager, you will proactively notify them of any impairments to commitments and seek or provide assistance as required.
