Fullstack Developer- Nodejs

As a Lead I - Software Engineering at UST, you will be required to bring your experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js and modern web technologies to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications in a cloud-native environment. Your responsibilities will include: - Architecting and implementing backend services using Node.js and integrating with distributed systems. - Developing responsive front-end applications using React/Angular. - Designing and optimizing data models and queries in PostgreSQL. - Implementing messaging and streaming solutions using Kafka. - Utilizing Redis for caching and performance improvements. - Deploying and managing applications on Azure Cloud, leveraging DevOps practices for CI/CD. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. - Ensuring best practices in code quality, security, and performance. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. - 8+ years of professional experience in full-stack development. - Strong proficiency in Node.js, React or Angular. - Hands-on experience with Kafka, PostgreSQL, and Redis. - Good understanding of Azure Cloud services and DevOps pipelines. - Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Nice to have skills include knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and experience with monitoring and logging tools.
