About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Full Stack Developer who lives and breathes e-commerce tech - especially Shopify, PHP, and WordPress.

If you’re someone who can take a Figa or an idea from the marketing team and turn it into a fast, clean, responsive website or feature without crying for “plugin” every 5 minutes, this role is for you.

Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

● Shopify Development

○ Build, customize and maintain Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JS.

○ Create custom sections, metafields, dynamic product pages, and reusable components.

○ Integrate and configure apps, handle basic API integrations and troubleshoot theme issues.

○ Optimize site speed, UX, and mobile responsiveness.

● PHP & WordPress Development

○ Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins (not just install-ready themes).

○ Build landing pages, blogs, and tools (calculators/forms/shortcodes) as per marketing requirements.

○ Work with PHP, MySQL to create and integrate backend logic, APIs, and dashboards.

● Full Stack / General Responsibilities

○ Convert Figma/Designs into pixel-perfect, responsive pages (HTML/CSS/JS).

○ Integrate third-party APIs (payment gateways, CRMs, WhatsApp APIs, tracking pixels, etc.).

○ Debug and fix technical issues across frontend & backend.

○ Collaborate with marketing, content, and design teams to implement features fast.

○ Implement basic on-page SEO & technical SEO best practices (clean code, schema basics, URL structure).

○ Ensure website performance, security, backups, and uptime.

Must-Have Skills

● 2–3 years of hands-on experience as a Full Stack Developer.

● Strong experience with:

○ (Preferred) Shopify: Liquid, theme customization, sections, metafields, app configuration.

○ PHP: Core PHP, basic MVC understanding, REST APIs, MySQL.

○ WordPress: Theme customization, plugin customization, hooks & filters, custom post types.

● Strong in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6), responsive design.

● Experience with MySQL / database queries.

● Basic knowledge of Git / version control.

● Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into technical tasks.

● Good debugging skills and the attitude to solve problems without hand-holding.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment with tight deadlines.

Good to Have (Bonus Points)

● Experience with Shopify app development (Node/React/PHP).

● Knowledge of Tailwind, Bootstrap, or other CSS frameworks.

● Experience with page speed optimization (Core Web Vitals).

● Experience in e-commerce / D2C brand setups.

● Strong understanding of tracking & analytics (GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel).

Soft Skills We Expect

● Strong ownership mindset – you own the website, not just “do tasks”.

● Clear communication with non-technical team members (marketing, content, design).

● Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and deliver on time.

● Problem-solver attitude – not “it’s not possible”, but “how can we make it work?”
