Overview of the Role The Product Manager role will support and establish ownership of analytics instrumentation and tagging, data collection, plus related infrastructure for marketing and analytics programs across our portfolio of domestic and international websites and native apps. The role will work closely with the Senior Product Manager, Analytics. The right candidate will have a strong technical and analytical foundation, a passion for data and data capture strategy, a background in eCommerce, and relevant experience in tag management and web analytics toolsets. The role is inherently cross-functional. You will work closely with engineering, marketing, analytics, and business teams to ensure critical programs, features, and functionality have information necessary to drive and optimize performance. Responsibilities include: Partner with Product Managers in designing and defining new features Lead, coach and mentor team of 5-8 full stack and backend engineers Write code that is of high quality, be a champion of coding standards and re-usable components Influence the technical direction of the engineering team and the approach for complex solutions involving multiple teams. Serve as a key member of a Scrum team, participate in all planning, stand-up and retrospective meetings Participate in, and potentially lead, Communities-of-Practice and Continuous Education programs. Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience 8+ Years of hands-on experience in JS, HTML and CSS 4+ Years of hands-on experience in React or Vue.Js 4+ Years of hands-on experience in backend programming like Java or Node. Typescript experience will add more value Large-scale ecommerce systems experience will be excellent for job requirements. Passionate about Ecommerce and retail a plus Expert understanding of Typescript, Java, and web technologies An understanding of UI performance and accessibility best practices is must. Enthusiasm for constant improvement as a Software Engineer Ability to communicate clearly and eXectively as well as motivate team members Mentoring team members, designing the applications Location: Pune
