• $10–12/hour depending on interview performance (approx. $1,000/month)

About the Company & Product

We're making a taste-driven dating app designed for independent and emotionally aware individuals. We help people connect through shared cultural interests — movies, music, books, places, and brands. The product focuses on intuitive UX, meaningful discovery, and long-term engagement.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain the mobile app using React Native
• Develop and maintain backend APIs using Node.js
• Design and manage schemas in MongoDB
• Work closely with the founder and designer to iterate quickly
• Implement product improvements based on user feedback

Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years of experience with React Native

(Don't waste your time if you are not proficient in React Native)

• Proficiency in Node.js and RESTful API development
• Solid hands-on experience with MongoDB
• Self-starter with ability to manage tasks in a lean team
• Comfortable working independently in a part-time setup

Nice to Have

• Experience with Expo
• Experience with OTA updates and app deployment
• Knowledge of recommendation or matching systems
• Experience in dating or community-based apps
