Job Title: Full Stack Engineer (MERN & DevOps)

Location: Remote (Must be willing to travel to Houston as needed)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer with expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) to work on cutting-edge software projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, DevOps, and SAP integration experience (a plus). This role requires a hands-on developer who can architect, build, and deploy secure and scalable web applications while ensuring high performance and robust security measures.

Key Responsibilities:

Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using MERN stack.
Cybersecurity: Implement best security practices, vulnerability assessments, and application security controls.
DevOps: Build CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, and ensure smooth deployment using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS/GCP/Azure.
SAP Integration: Work with SAP APIs and integrate SAP modules into modern applications (if applicable).
Performance Optimization: Write efficient, reusable, and scalable code to enhance application performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers.
Cloud & Infrastructure: Manage cloud environments, monitor system health, and ensure high availability of services.
Compliance & Security: Ensure applications meet industry security standards, data privacy regulations, and compliance requirements.

Required Skills & Experience:

4+ years of experience in MERN stack development (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices (OWASP, IAM, Encryption, API security).
Experience in DevOps tools and automation (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code).
Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture and scalable systems.
Experience with SAP integration (a plus).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in serverless computing (AWS Lambda, Firebase Functions).
Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, SAML).
Hands-on experience with logging and monitoring tools (ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana).
Familiarity with GraphQL and WebSockets.
Understanding of compliance frameworks (SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA) is a plus.

Additional Requirements:

Willingness to travel to Houston, TX as required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
