Purpose of the Role:

Full Stack Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop responsive and intuitive front-end interfaces, ensuring a seamless user experience
• Design and maintain back-end services and APIs to handle complex data operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives
• Implement and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable applications using modern development frameworks
• Integrate with third-party APIs and services to extend the functionality of our tools
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize code for maximum performance across various devices and browsers
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and frameworks to continuously improve PharmSight’s digital platforms
• Help build, mentor, and provide technical leadership to a growing software development team

Requirements:

• Technical Expertise:

  5+ years of prior experience as a full stack developer, with strong proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular/Vue) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java)

• Database Management:

  Experience with database design and management using SQL or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB)

• Cloud and DevOps:

  Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Version Control and Collaboration:

  Proficiency in version control (e.g., Git) and working in collaborative environments

• Problem-Solving Skills:

  Ability to translate complex problems into elegant technical solutions

• Soft Skills:

  Strong communication skills, ability to work independently on end-to-end project deliverables, and adaptability to fast-paced environments. Teamwork and collaboration are essential along with the ability to help build and lead a high-performing software development team

Bonus Skills:

• Experience in data analytics, visualization tools, or AI integration
• Knowledge of bio-pharmaceutical industry standards and requirements
• Familiarity with working on projects that involve complex datasets or healthcare applications
