Frontend

• Next.js (App Router preferred)

• React.js (with hooks)
• TypeScript (preferred)
• Tailwind CSS / CSS Modules
• State management (Redux / Zustand / React Query)
• SSR, SSG, ISR concepts

Backend

• FastAPI (Python)

• REST API design (clean, scalable)
• Pydantic models
• Async programming (async/await)
• Authentication (JWT / OAuth)
• Database integration (PostgreSQL / MySQL / MongoDB)

DevOps & Deployment

• Cloud deployment on

  AWS / GCP / Azure

• Docker (basic to intermediate)
• CI/CD (GitHub Actions preferred)
• Environment management & secrets
• Logging, monitoring, error handling

Key Responsibilities

Frontend (Next.js)

• Build

  high-performance, SEO-friendly

  web applications using Next.js
• Implement server components, client components, and API integrations
• Optimize performance (code splitting, lazy loading, caching)
• Convert Figma designs into responsive UI
• Handle authentication, role-based access, and protected routes

Backend (FastAPI)

• Design and build

  scalable REST APIs

  using FastAPI
• Implement authentication, authorization, and business logic
• Optimize database queries and API response times
• Ensure API security, validation, and error handling
• Write clean, modular, testable Python code

Platform & Product

• Collaborate with product, design, and academic/ops teams
• Translate requirements into technical implementation
• Take ownership of features from idea production
• Improve system reliability, scalability, and performance
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions

Must-Have Skills (Screening Criteria)
