Role Overview

We are looking for a Full Stack Development Team Lead with strong Python expertise and hands-on experience in GenAI, RAG, and document automation workflows.

A major part of this role is to automate regulatory documentation through:

• AI-assisted document generation
• Auto-populating regulatory forms
• Auto-formatting, templating, and conversion
• Extracting data automatically from PDFs/Excel/Word
• Versioning, compliance-ready formatting, and structured outputs

The ideal candidate can architect and build full-stack systems that convert manual regulatory work into automated, intelligent, high-accuracy workflows.

Key Responsibilities (Updated with Automation Focus)

1. Technical Leadership

• Lead a team building AI and automation tools for regulatory affairs.
• Define architecture for full-stack systems, document pipelines, and RAG engines.
• Establish engineering standards for accuracy, validation, and data handling.

2. Full-Stack Development

• Build internal tools for document-heavy workflows such as:
• Automated template creation
• Auto-population of regulatory forms (BIS, CDSCO, ISO docs, declarations, checklists)
• Document comparison & change tracking
• File metadata extraction
• Develop clean UIs in React.js / Next.js.
• Build backend APIs and automation engines using Python (FastAPI/Flask).

3. GenAI, RAG & Document Automation

This is the heart of the role.

You will build:

Document Automation Systems

• Auto-generate regulatory documents using LLMs + structured templates.
• Extract key fields from PDFs, DOCX, XLSX for automated filling.
• Auto-summarize long guidelines into usable content.
• Build workflows that convert unstructured docs → structured datasets → formatted outputs.
• Generate compliance checklists, declarations, or summaries automatically.

RAG & Knowledge Retrieval

• Build vector search for regulatory libraries:
• Acts, standards, guidelines, SOPs, QMS documentation.
• Implement chunking, embedding, summarization, context retrieval optimized for regulatory content.

Template & Output Automation

• Build engines to output:
• DOCX templates
• Auto-generated PDFs
• Excel sheets pre-filled with required fields
• Maintain formatting aligned with regulatory standards.

4. Cloud, Integrations & Sync

• Integrate with Google Drive for automated file ingestion & synchronization.
• Build document pipelines for PDF/DOCX ingestion, conversion, OCR.
• Deploy automation services on Cloud Run, Lambda, or serverless stacks.

5. Databases, Analytics & Reporting

• Store structured regulatory data in PostgreSQL / Firestore / DynamoDB.
• Build analytics dashboards showing:
• Document status automation progress
• Pending deadlines, renewals, filings
• Document extraction accuracy & RAG performance

6. DevOps, CI/CD & QA

• Set up automated testing for document extraction & generation.
• Implement versioning and automated validation workflows.
• Maintain secure deployments and audit logs.

Required Skill Set

Technical

• Strong knowledge of React.js / Next.js.
• Backend expertise in Python (FastAPI/Flask).
• Experience with:
• OpenAI APIs
• RAG pipelines
• PDF/DOCX/XLSX extraction libraries (pypdf, docx, pandas, Tika, OCR tools)
• Document generation libraries (ReportLab, python-docx, Jinja templates)
• Template-based document automation
• Cloud deployment (GCP/AWS).
• Google Drive API + OAuth for document sync.
• Database experience: PostgreSQL, Firestore, DynamoDB.

Leadership

• 2+ years team leadership experience.
• Able to communicate technical requirements with regulatory teams.
• Strong attention to accuracy, consistency, and validation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience automating documentation-heavy workflows in:
• Regulatory affairs
• Quality management (ISO 13485/9001)
• Audits & compliance
• Experience with OCR tools, PDF parsing, and template engines.
• Knowledge of document versioning, traceability, and audit logs.

Soft Skills

• Independent problem solver.
• Detail-oriented — especially with text formatting & data extraction.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

5. Complete Technical Documentation & Handover
