Full Stack Developer (MERN Stack)

As a Full Stack Developer at SMC Squared, you will be an integral part of our dynamic development team, responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-performance web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js). Your role will involve collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate business requirements into technical deliverables. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications required for this role: **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications using the MERN stack, focusing on React, Next.js, Fastify, and TypeScript. - Develop robust API services using Node.js and Fastify for speed, scalability, and minimal overhead. - Build and maintain modern, server-side rendered (SSR) and static front-ends using Next.js for fast, SEO-friendly experiences. - Ensure code quality and maintainability by championing TypeScript and writing comprehensive unit and integration tests. - Participate in peer code reviews, debug, and resolve performance issues. - Contribute to improving development workflows, automation, and CI/CD processes. **Qualifications Required:** - 3 to 5 years of professional experience in full-stack web development using modern JavaScript frameworks. - Strong hands-on experience with the MERN stack and expertise in React, Next.js, and Fastify. - Proficiency in TypeScript for front-end and back-end development. - Knowledge of asynchronous programming, promises, and event loop in Node.js. - Familiarity with state management in React and modern deployment practices. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
