Role Description

We are seeking a Full Stack AI Engineer for a remote contract role. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining AI-driven applications and multi-agent systems tailored for food distribution.

Your day-to-day work will involve building intelligent agents, integrating with proprietary ERP systems, ensuring system scalability and performance, and collaborating with a highly skilled technical team. You will have the freedom to own projects end-to-end and continuously learn and apply emerging AI technologies.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-caliber, startup-like environment, takes full ownership of their work, and enjoys building impactful systems from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-powered agents and full-stack applications for food distribution optimization.

• Implement, and fine-tune machine learning and LLM-based workflows.

• Build APIs and frontend interfaces using FastAPI and ReactJS.

• Integrate AI agents with proprietary ERP systems and other enterprise data sources.

• Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance across deployments.

• Collaborate with engineers and product stakeholders to shape system architecture.

• Take ownership of key modules and drive independent development.

• Stay current with emerging AI frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, OpenAI SDK, multi-agent orchestration).

Qualifications

• Strong experience with machine learning algorithms and AI tooling.

• Proficiency in front-end and back-end development (FastAPI, ReactJS, LangGraph, OpenAI SDK).

• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud, or similar).

• Solid understanding of database management and data processing frameworks.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Proven ability to work independently and take initiative.

• Willingness to learn new technologies and work with proprietary systems.

• Prior experience in a startup or agile environment is a plus.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
