Full Stack Applic Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable JavaScript, HTML/CSS/SCSS, Python code, with occasional use of C.
• Develop and automate infrastructure software/tools to support scalable applications and systems.
• Translate functional specifications into detailed technical specifications; code and test work according to established standards.
• Document design processes thoroughly, including development, testing, analytics, and troubleshooting activities.
• Maintain a high standard of quality for all deliverables.
• Conduct specification and code reviews to ensure compliance with architectural standards and best practices.
• Promote adoption of core technologies, architectural guidelines, and development standards within the team.
• Drive software development best practices covering technology selection, workflows, and coding standards.
• Manage all software development activities under version control and release management.
• Handle code branching and establish multiple environments spanning development, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), production, and production fixes.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Python programming languages.
• Moderate proficiency with Linux development environment and command-line interface (CLI) commands.
• Hands-on experience with REST API development and queue messaging systems such as Kafka.
• Familiarity with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Experience with at least one JavaScript MVC framework like Angular or React.
• Exposure to frontend build tools such as Grunt, Gulp, Bower, and JavaScript libraries like jQuery and D3 is a plus.
• Experience with MeteorJS framework is a significant advantage.
• Moderate understanding of Docker and the overall Docker ecosystem.
• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB; familiarity with SQL databases is a bonus.
• Proven experience designing interactive applications and networking platforms.
• Expertise in building responsive designs and applying software design patterns effectively.
• Strong understanding of data structures, databases, algorithms, and asynchronous architectures.
• Experience with DevOps tools and software development lifecycle tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, GIT, and Confluence.
• Basic to moderate networking knowledge and awareness of cybersecurity concepts.
