Frontend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive and user-centric web applications using JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into high-quality frontend solutions.
• Implement efficient state management techniques to optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
• Utilize TypeScript to enhance code quality, maintainability, and developer productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Take ownership of projects from conception to deployment, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
• Dive deep into existing codebases and libraries, enhancing and optimising where necessary.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in frontend development.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Contribute to the documentation of frontend architecture, design patterns, and development standards.
  

Requirements

• Proficiency in JavaScript and React; solid understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Proven experience developing frontend applications with Tailwind, Next.js, and build tools like webpack, Vite.js .
• Solid understanding of state management concepts.
• Proficiency in TypeScript for building robust and type-safe frontend code.
• Ability to build features from scratch, focusing on modularity and scalability.
• Strong knowledge of web performance optimisation techniques, including code splitting, lazy loading, and caching strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
