Frontend Developer

You are a skilled Frontend Developer with over 2 years of professional experience in frontend development, specializing in modern CSS and JavaScript frameworks. Your main focus will be on Magento frontend development, particularly in customizing Hyv themes and creating mobile-responsive designs. Experience in Shopware frontend customization is considered a strong advantage. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain responsive and interactive frontend interfaces for Magento 2 stores using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and theme templating. You will be responsible for customizing and maintaining Hyv themes, including working with Alpine.js for frontend interactivity. Implementing UI designs with modern CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS and CSS3 will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will enhance frontend interactivity using JavaScript, jQuery, and headless JS frameworks such as React.js or Vue.js as per project requirements. Your tasks will also involve working on Magento layout XMLs, templates, and custom theme development or modification. Ensuring cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and mobile-first responsive design are essential aspects of your work. Collaboration with backend developers and designers to bridge the gap between design and technical implementation will be crucial for project success. Optionally, but preferred, you may work on customizing and developing frontend features for Shopware stores. To excel in this role, you must possess strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+). Hands-on experience with Magento 2 frontend development and expertise in customizing Hyv themes are essential. Knowledge of Alpine.js, HTMX, or other lightweight JS frameworks, along with experience in Shopware 6 frontend development and template customization, will be beneficial. A good understanding of responsive design, mobile-first development, and familiarity with tools like SCSS/SASS, Tailwind CSS, Webpack, and Git are required. Your ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, coupled with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, will be valuable assets in this role.
