About the Role

We are looking for a Frontend Developer to take ownership of building and maintaining the core user interface of our Chrome extension. This role involves working with Svelte, TailwindCSS, and browser APIs, with opportunities to influence product decisions and deliver highly polished user experiences. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain features for the Chrome extension using Svelte, TailwindCSS, and WXT.
• Work with browser APIs such as storage, messaging, and permissions to build extension functionality.
• Integrate frontend with backend APIs and third-party services.
• Translate Figma designs into responsive, accessible, and user-friendly UIs.
• Optimize for performance, bundle size, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Collaborate with the team to shape product decisions and deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Contribute to code reviews, Git workflows, and engineering best practices.
• Reverse engineer third-party APIs when required.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in frontend engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms, complexity analysis, asynchronous programming, and event-driven architecture.
• Understanding of browser internals including rendering pipelines, DOM, and event loop.
• Proficiency with JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and TailwindCSS.
• Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Svelte, React, or Vue, with a willingness to specialize in Svelte.
• Familiarity with build tools such as Vite, Bun, or Webpack.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and managing client-side state.
• Strong Git knowledge with experience in branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

• Mandatory:

   Svelte, Vue.js, React.js, TypeScript, Git

Nice to Have

• Prior experience developing Chrome or browser extensions.
• Familiarity with the WXT framework.
• Experience with Chrome extension APIs for storage, messaging, and background workers.
• Exposure to GitHub or GitLab Actions for CI/CD.
• Experience implementing UI/UX from tools like Figma.
