Role Overview: As a Front-End Developer at Chandigarh University, your primary responsibility will be to develop responsive and interactive web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. You will need to implement front-end logic using frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js. Collaboration with UI/UX designers and back-end developers is essential to deliver efficient and scalable solutions. Additionally, you will be tasked with optimizing web applications for maximum speed and responsiveness, maintaining and improving existing websites and web applications, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, and adhering to accessibility standards. Your role will also involve participating in code reviews and contributing to best coding practices. Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 0-4 years of professional experience in front-end web development (freshers with strong portfolios are welcome). - Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and one or more front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue). - Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket). - Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with back-end services. - Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design principles. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
