Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients/visitors at the reception.
  • Handle patient registration and update records in the hospital system.
  • Schedule and manage doctor appointments and follow-ups.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries politely.
  • Guide patients to departments, labs, billing, and other services.
  • Generate invoices and collect payments (cash/card/UPI).
  • Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other departments for smooth workflow.
  • Manage patient waiting area and ensure efficient patient flow.
  • Maintain front office documents, files, and daily reports.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and high-quality customer service.
  • Handle patient complaints or escalate them to the supervisor when required.

Requirements

  • Any graduate (Hospital/Healthcare experience preferred).
  • 0 - 4years of front office or customer service experience.
  • Good communication skills (English + local language).
  • Computer knowledge (MS Office, hospital management software).
  • Pleasant personality, problem-solving attitude, and ability to multitask.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts if required.
